The Ethnic Group Deprivation Index (EGDI) is set to be included in the latest edition of Resolve Poverty's Poverty Monitor.
GEDI team member Professor Chris Lloyd will be speaking at a free Resolve Poverty webinar on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 from 10.30am-12.00pm. In his talk, he will introduce the Ethnic Group Deprivation Index (EGDI) and show how deprivation varies between ethnic groups across small-area geographies in England and Wales, strengthening our understanding of inequalities within communities.
