From depicting complexity to an intersectional research agenda’, in: Harris,
R., Manley, D. and Mayhew, R. (eds) Geography and a Geographer:
Reimagining the Discipline After Ron Johnston, London: LSE Press, pp. 177–204.
Gemma Catney and David Manley have written a contribution to Geography and a Geographer (LSE Press, open access), an edited collection which remembers and celebrates the late Professor Ron Johnston's extensive contributions to Geography. Their chapter draws on GEDI Census research to reflect on Johnston's important contributions to research on ethnic segregation and diversity. The chapter considers the potential of an intersectional research agenda for advancing segregation research.
